Must, built-in mixer and pull-out spout: a discreet and refined detail at the core of the project

Must is born from a functional need, inspired to practical use of a kitchen, where mixers and pull-out spouts are usually clear and evident. Mina thinks about the built-in mixer and amazes with an original idea: a design project of breakdown kitchen mixer elements and the subsequent rebuilding in a rational but unusual way. The result is a built-in body that feels comfortable in the bathroom, by opening the possibility for further uses.

A kitchen set stripped of ornaments in order to pay back the essence of the mixer and its inner part, which becomes the subject of the composition. The extension of the pull-out spout is a discreet detail as not to be predominant, but it is built-in the wall. Must is comfortable not just for the kitchen but also in the bathroom, and wherever there is a need to have such mixer. Moreover it has hygienic advantages thank to stainless steel material. La firma ha pensado de este modo en el mezclador empotrado, esconde de manera exquisita la parte extensible y asombra con esta original idea, que también se puede utilizar en el baño, ampliando así sus posibles usos. Una solución elegante y sencilla acabada en acero inoxidable, un material muy higiénico y duradero.

The Titanic 2nd class washbasin is the replica of the ones installed the cabins of the “ship of dreams”. This piece has become a reference for Bathco because of its original design and the special connotation that it counts, the experiences lived with the passengers who travelled on the largest and most luxurious ship of time to live a dream, the American dream. In environments where the mixture of materials is the main relevance, the Titanic washbasin stands out in its undecorated version, giving way to the versatility of porcelain, as well as in the pieces with a golden edge or golden flowery valances.

Designed by Adriano Design for Verum Italy, this mix of design and engineering, research in the simplicity and the essentiality of the product its functionality and its beauty, rewriting the hydraulic system concept to offer a new level of interaction with water. Is a cube of only 50 mm, in a brass alloy, which defines the innovation and the modularity of this system declined in most solutions, to respond with flexibly to any need of water output.

A bath for children made of Hi-Macs®

Due to his hygienic properties and his impermeability, Hi-Macs® was the ideal material for the walls and for the furniture of this bathroom. The furniture, the worktop and the washbasin are done in this acrylic natural stone, without apparent meetings, obtaining this way a surface easy to clean and take care. Location: Bucarest. En este baño para niños realizado en Bucarest (Rumanía), Hi-Macs® ha sido el material ideal, tanto para las paredes como para el mobiliario, el lavabo, el radiador…por sus amplias cualidades, entre las que se encuentran la higiene y la impermeabilidad. El arquitecto ha apostado por los contrastes cromáticos al tratarse de un baño para los más pequeños de la casa. La introducción de los colores Banana, Lemon Squash, Light Green y Gray, en consonancia con el mobiliario, le dan un aspecto muy alegre y juvenil. Uno de los elementos que nos sorprende gratamente es el radiador, también realizado en Hi-Macs®, con el mismo diseño de inserciones que vemos en el revestimiento de la pared.

Purapietra and the designers Paolo Ulian and Moreno Ratti formalized the beginning of their collaboration with Purapietra, with the launch of Diamond, the first piece of a family of washbasins characterized by fragmentation of the optical surface: Surface Collection, a visual game of geometries that cross the hard surface of the marble.

Purapietra y los diseñadores Paolo Ulian y Moreno Ratti inician su colaboración con el lanzamiento de Diamond, primera pieza de una familia de lavabos caracterizada por la fragmentación óptica de la superficie: Surface Collection, un juego visual de geometría que atraviesan la dura superficie del mármol. Y, además, como el diamante en el que se inspira su nombre se presenta en varias formas y dimensiones. El primer prototipo se ha presentado en la semana del diseño de Milán.

Trace, signed by Veneziano+Team Studio for Valdama

Gianni Veneziano and Luciana Di Virgilio, of Veneziano+Team studio, signed the collection of washbasin Trace for Valdama. Trace is the manifestation of a feeling, a hint of something, a sketch for a drawing, a mark left on the ground, a print, a line that runs on a surface. The flow of time and water has created a sculptural subtraction in the matter. The slow passage of the elements has gently smoothed the shapes, moulding them at its discretion. The collection is produced in fire clay and is available in in rectangular, square and round in the colors black and white, matte and glossy finish.

El estudio Veneziano+Team firma la colección de lavabos Trace para Valdama y que destaca por sus originales formas, que marcan la superficie de forma delicada. Realizados en fire clay, están disponibles en planta con forma rectangular, redonda y cuadrada y en los colores blanco y negro, en acabado brillo o mate.

Xavier Mariscal and Bathco they have presented in Cevisama 2015 the new collection that the designer has developed for the spanish signature of sanitary. The wash basins decorated with Mariscal's exclusive designs, stand out for his vibrant chromatic palette and the recognizable outline of the designer. 

Bathco by Mariscal is composed includes a total of five different models. Mariscal has turned into one of the most representative figures of the graphical design into Spain. It's a question of a multidisciplinary designer that he has constructed an own, personal and artistic language and that it has provided the success and international recognition to him.

My Bag, by Olympia Ceramica

A suitcase, folding feet … a trip across the innovative, determined and complex design, which final result is the efficiency.
