Country and nordic style

In Fevik we find a very pastoral project by Maria Rasmussen, an interior designer with New Room Interior. The work consisted of renovating this house to reflect two styles: Nordic and country. This fusion made it possible to transform this house into a unique place that breathes tranquillity and homey warmth.In the bathroom tiles add a note of uniqueness, along with the Bathco Castellon C washbasins on a wooden cabinet that was custom-made to take full advantage the space. An important detail for achieving this countrified but totally contemporary atmosphere was the use of microcement on the walls to lend uniformity and practicality.

En Fevik nos encontramos con un proyecto muy campestre de Maria Rasmussen, interiorista de New Room Interior. El trabajo consistió en reformar esta casa para lo que se inspiró en dos estilos: nórdico y campestre. Esta fusión le permitió convertir esta casa en un lugar único en el que se respira tranquilidad y se siente un calor muy hogareño.En el baño se instalaron azulejos que aportan la nota diferente junto a dos lavabos Castellón C de Bathco sobre un mueble de madera hecho a medida para aprovechar el espacio. Un detalle importante para lograr ese ambiente campestre pero totalmente actual fue la aplicación de microcemento en las paredes, esto confiere uniformidad y practicidad.

Flamingos are so elegant and fun, chic and trendy. In the fashion world, flamingos are the kings. Flamingo feathers obtain their wonderful rosy pink color from pigments in the organisms they eat. The flamingos’ feathers, legs, and face are colored by their diet, which is rich in alpha and beta carotenoid pigments. Carotenoids in crustaceans such as those in the flamingo diet are frequently linked to protein molecules, and may be blue or green. After being digested, the carotenoid pigments dissolve in fats and are deposited in the growing feathers, becoming orange or pink. There are six different species of flamingo, found in locations ranging from the Caribbean and South America to Africa, India, and the Mediterranean.

Los flamencos o “flamingos” en inglés están de moda y marcan tendencias, pero ¿sabéis por qué estos animales son de color rosa? Cuando nacen no lo son, tardan 3 años en alcanzar la madurez y cambiar de color. El plumaje rosa se debe a su alimentación: los carotenoides presentes en camarones, plancton, algas y crustáceos les dan este color tan característico. En España podemos encontrarlos en lugares como las Salinas de Santa Pola, el parque Natural de Doñana…

Titanic Collection by Bathco: A luxurious second class

The Titanic 2nd class washbasin is the replica of the ones installed the cabins of the “ship of dreams”. This piece has become a reference for Bathco because of its original design and the special connotation that it counts, the experiences lived with the passengers who travelled on the largest and most luxurious ship of time to live a dream, the American dream. In environments where the mixture of materials is the main relevance, the Titanic washbasin stands out in its undecorated version, giving way to the versatility of porcelain, as well as in the pieces with a golden edge or golden flowery valances.

Titanic 2nd class es la reproducción del lavabo de segunda clase del buque de los sueños. Esta pieza se ha convertido en una referencia para Bathco por su original diseño y la connotación tan especial con la que cuenta; haber vivido experiencias con pasajeros que se embarcaron en el buque más grande y lujoso del momento para vivir un sueño, el sueño americano. En ambientes donde el protagonismo lo acapara la mezcla de materiales, el lavabo del Titanic destaca tanto en su versión sin decorar, dejando paso a la versatilidad de la porcelana, como con filo dorado o cenefa de flores doradas.

Bathco by Mariscal

Xavier Mariscal and Bathco they have presented in Cevisama 2015 the new collection that the designer has developed for the spanish signature of sanitary. The wash basins decorated with Mariscal's exclusive designs, stand out for his vibrant chromatic palette and the recognizable outline of the designer. 

Bathco by Mariscal is composed includes a total of five different models. Mariscal has turned into one of the most representative figures of the graphical design into Spain. It's a question of a multidisciplinary designer that he has constructed an own, personal and artistic language and that it has provided the success and international recognition to him.

Xavier Mariscal y Bathco han presentado en Cevisama 2015 la nueva colección de lavabos que el diseñador ha desarrollado para la marca española de sanitarios. Los lavabos decorados con los exclusivos diseños de Mariscal, destacan por su vibrante paleta cromática y por los trazos reconocibles del diseñador. La colección incluye cinco modelos distintos. Mariscal se ha convertido una de las figuras más representativas del diseño gráfico en nuestro país y es reconocido internacionalmente.
